Think I'm wrong? How about explaining to me how a Republican congress can rubber stamp eight years (I know, I know, they only had a majority for six of those eight yeas) of Bush's inept and disastrous fiscal policy and now turn its back on a plan intended to get America back on its feet because of nothing more than who wrote it? How about explaining Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH) withdrawing from consideration from Commerce Secretary by GRANDSTANDING on national television.
How did Republican House members greet Gregg's retreat?
Asked for his reaction to Gregg's withdrawal as a candidate, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) responded simply: "Wonderful." (according to The Hill)
Unless I hear otherwise, I will continue to believe that Republicans view this entire government thing as an extended fraternity football game that they simply hate to loose. Give me an example how these so called Real Americans™ feel the pain Americans are feeling in the current economy and maybe I'll change my view. Because all I see are a bunch of spoiled political war-mongers who like the fight a whole hell of a lot more than they like their country.
