About The Editor

I spent the better part of a decade driving around the country in a Toyota min-van ostensibly working as a singer-songwriter, crashing on all manners of couches and futons, eating whatever came with the gig, and cultivating a strong love of the American landscape. Since 1997, I've released three independent records, was a founding member of a moderately successful touring musical roadshow, and moved from Colorado to New England and back to Colorado again.
Now, having finally settled down roots at 8500 feet in an old mining town, I write more more than drive and read more than perform. The Flutter Effect is my experiment with social and political critique at an intersecting time of change and resistance, collapse and exhaustion in American history.
